National Parks

Rwenzori Mountains National Park: Six snow capped peaks, 3 with glaciers. Mountaineering and hiking activities available.
Lake Mburo National Park: Lies in the rain shadow between Lake Victoria and the Rwenzori Mountains. Has got extensive area of wetland, long rains from February to June. Unique mammals and birds.
Mgahinga Gorlla National Park: 3 Extinct volcanos and 3 extensive swamps. Besides Gorillas are the Golden monkey, Elephant, Leopardand Forest Hog.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: Most famous for Gorilla tracking, also hiking trails as you view variety of birds and primates.
Kibale Forest National Park: Forest walks take 2-3 hours as view variety of primates found within the Park. 12 species of primates including chimps recorded.
Murchison Falls National Park: 3 hours boat rides from the Paraa to the foot Murchison falls enabling you to see Hippos, Crocodile and magnificient bird life. Nature walks to the top of the falls where you can trek chimpanzees.
Queen Elizabeth National Park: The park borders Lake Edward and George. Boat rides on the kazinga channel that connects the two lakes will take about 2hours, breath taking kyambura gorge offers chimp tracking.
Mount Elgon National Park: Extinct volcano, fourth highest Mountain, 4321 metres. Has got magnificent water falls, caves,gorges, hot springs and great for hiking. Major peaks are accessible to hikers.

Semuliki National Park: Right in the west of Uganda is a park with the richest areas of flora and fauna in Africa. Hot springs, forest walks, rich in bird wacthing.Also Elephant, Bufallo, sitatungas and primates can be viewed.
Kidepo Valley National Park: Good walking safaris as well as day and night dives. Good chances of viewing lion, larges herds of Elephants and Buffalo, Leopard and Cheetah, Birds of prey and Ostrich.
