Source of the Nile (Kampala – Jinja Return)

Jinja was previously the industrial capital of Uganda, which is best known for the source of the River Nile at the now submerged Rippon falls. Owen Falls dam, located just downstream from the source of its 4000 miles journey to the Mediterranean Sea from Lake Victoria.
Join us to see the source of the Nile and its surrounding environs.

Depart from Kampala heading east wards to Jinja passing tea estates, sugar plantations and colorful road side fruit/vegetable markets.

 9:30am

First stop will be at Ssezibwa falls the historical falls meant to cure sick people (spend 30minutes here).

 11:30am

Second stop at the thick Mabira forest to see the cool and monkey jumping forest, butterflies and many more things that your sight will see here.

.1:30pm

Lunch at Sunset hotel on the shores of Lake Victoria, source of the Nile enjoy the variety of African dishes on offer, later proceed to the source to visit and relax here.

 3:00pm- 4:30pm

The relaxing and most amazing place will be at the Bujagali falls where several rapids are situated closed together, later return early in the evening to Kampala to your hotel.

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL GAME PARK (3DAYS/ 2NIGHTS)
The Murchison!
The largest National Park in Uganda covering 3,480sq km and is situated between Masindi and Pakwach on the way to west Nile, the spectacular Murchison falls results from the Nile River being forced through a narrow crevice. Lions, Elephant, giraffe, buffalo, countless antelope and bird species. Crocodiles can be viewed during a boat Cruise to the bottom of the falls.

EXPECTATIONS

Day one:

A pleasantly planned safari takes you from Kampala, on a northward journey and pleasant travel that allows you a lunch stop in Masindi hotel before proceeding to the Murchison falls. Along the way, you will encounter variety of birds, monkeys, and baboons. Upon arrival at the park, you will have a late afternoon drive to the top of the Murchison falls and will stay over night at either Paraa Safari Lodge/ Sambiya River Lodge/ Red Chillis.

Day two:

You will be served with breakfast at 6.30am, then proceed to enjoy a game drive for the rest of the morning before retiring to your camp for lunch. In the afternoon, at 1.45pm transfer for a three hours launch trip that allows you more bird watching of species like the shoebill and animals like crocodiles, hippos and elephants.

Day three

Will involve a refreshingly cool drive back to Kampala through the Budongo forest, lunch in Masindi.

 QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK (QENP)   (3DAYS / 2NIGHTS)
Found in the western arm of the east African Rift Valley, QENP covers 1,978 sq km, & boasts of over 500 recorded bird species. This includes the shoebill stork, the black bee-eater, and 11 types of kingfisher, species of falcon, eagles and other raptors. Animals that move about in the park include: Lions, Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos, and many other animals.
Itinerary:


Day 1: 
Kampala - Queen Elizabeth Park.

After breakfast leave Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Northern Sector of the park (Mweya /Jacana Safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology) arriving in the afternoon for lunch and after rest for evening boat ride on the Kazinga Channel to see a host of countless bird species, crocodiles, water bucks and probably the largest number of Nile Hippos. Return for Dinner and overnight at Mweya/Jacana Safari Lodge/ Institute of Ecology. Full board.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Wake up early in the morning for a game drive search animals such as lions, Kobs, Topis and many others.  Drive back to the lodge for a late breakfast.  After breakfast leave the lodges for another game drive to Katwe and after proceed to the Crater area to see the features of volcanic formations.  Return to the lodge for lunch.  After lunch, an exciting walk will take you to the warm surrounding of the lodge ending your day with Dinner and over night at Mweya full board.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala

After breakfast, leave Mweya/ Jacana Safari Lodge / Institute of Ecology (Q.E.N.P) for Kampala, lunch in Masaka, Leave Masaka after lunch to arrive in time for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Trip begins from Kampala.
Inclusive:
Ground transport from to Kampala, an English speaking driver/guide, and full board accommodation, park entrance fees for passenger and vehicle, game drives, boat trip to Kazinga Channel, mineral water or bananas.

SSESSE ISLAND WEEKEND TOURS
Day 1: Leave Kampala to Entebbe Nakiwogo pier to board the afternoon boat to Ssese Island. Beach Hotel. FB
Day 2: Relax at the beach or participate in sports activities or a boat ride on Lake Victoria. Beach Hotel. FB

 BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST (3DAYS/2NIGHTS)
Situated in south-western Uganda, Bwindi impenetrable forest offers an intriguingly true African jungle experience. Its dense growth, vines and other vegetation make it impenetrable, mysterious and awesome as the sun breaks through; elegant helicon or lobster claw spreads its colorful petals. This is one of the richest areas for flora in Africa. The forest is home to about 330 mountain gorillas, half of the world’s population of about 600 mountain gorillas. Gorilla tracking is the main activity here and is restricted to a number of visitors. It is advisable to make reservations at least three months in advance.

Early drive west wards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving Kabale Town for lunch at White Horse Regency Hotel before driving through the Kigezi Highlands, dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Homestead or Buhoma Bandas.

Day 2:

Early morning gorilla tracking and afternoon village walk
At Buhoma Homestead or Buhoma Bandas.

Day 3:

Drive back to Kampala

 Trip begins in Uganda
Includes return ground transport from to Kampala, accommodation as chosen on full board basis, Gorilla permit, park entrance fees, an English speaking driver/guide.
It excludes airfares to Uganda, entry visas, and airport taxes, all personal expenditure such as tips, telephone calls, laundry and drinks.

 5DAYS GORILLA TOUR TO BWINDI AND QUEEN
Day 1: Drive to Bwindi via Mbarara Agip Motel for lunch. Overnight at Buhoma Homes or Community Banda.FB
Day 2: Early morning gorilla tracking.  Overnight at Buhoma Homes or Community Banda.FB.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth via the Ishasha sector. Overnight at Mweya Lodge or Hostel. FB.

Day 1 Entebbe – Kampala
Day of arrival at Entebbe International Airport where you be met and your guide will transfer to your Hotel
Day 2: depart Kampala to Kibale forest National Park over night at Rwenzori Traveller Inn or Ndali Lodge on full board basis.
Day 3 Kibale forest National Park
Morning Chimps tracking in the forest and afternoon lunch then village walk to see what the tourism sector around the area has contributed to the people here; dinner will be served under moon light, quite overnight on full board basis.
Day 4 Kibale forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Leave Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning via the Tooro Kingdom Palace; a game drive while entering in the park, check in at Mweya Safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology full board and afternoon boat ride to the Kazinga channel, return later for another evening game drive, overnight here.
Day 5 Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning at 6:30am game drive to the Kasenyi area, return for a full breakfast and leave for another game drive to the crater area, return for lunch, rest and in the evening proceed for an exciting game drive to search for Mr. Leopard in Queen Elizabeth National Park, overnight on full board.
Day 6 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi National Park
Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park while enjoying the Landscape of Kigezi Highlands via the Ishasha Sector with box lunch and later arrive to Bwindi for overnight at Buhoma Homestead or Mantana Luxury Tented Camp on full board basis.
Day 7 Bwindi National Park
Morning gorilla tracking in Bwindi, and afternoon lunch, village walk to the pygmies return for overnight on full board basis.
Day 8 Bwindi National Park - Kampala
Leave Bwindi Forest to Kampala, lunch will be served in Masaka town, to Entebbe and arrive in time to catch your flight back home, breakfast and lunch.
